Jonathan Haidt

With all the Tea Party discussion these days, remembered Jonathan Haidt's amazing discussion on Moral Judgment and Moral Politics.

I heard him speak at a conference in New York in 2007.

Very intriguing insight into conservatives, liberals, religion and politics, and the growth of the Tea Party. Interesting to see in retrospect his thoughts on the then- Democratic candidates and why he felt Obama's messaging resonated with the American people. I still find it a bit confusing, how conservatives include structure as part of their morality and yet Republicans are simultaneously vehemently anti-big government...
